depends what you mean by 'end'. you have a definite goal, in this case paying off an obascene debt. Once you've done that the game becomes endless. You can restart it as a NG+ if you want to do it all again though

not really, only you dont have the annoying fairy out for your blood every month when it comes to paying up

You can go for endless mode to get the rest of the adventurers and any tidbits of storyline you may have missed. Or you can make a New Game+ that saves all your previous data and starts you over again. Technically it doesn't really have an end until you stop playing.

Another end would be beating the Boss of the last Dungeon (which is btw. only accessible over Endless Mode.) Which is kind of another story line to be finished.

As stated, the main story ends after 5 weeks (5 payments). After that there is both an Endless Mode and New Game+. Endless mode has 2 exclusive dungeons, one of which has it's own story line.
A minimum of 7 playthroughs are required to obtain everything, btw.

There is also a Survival Mode (with two difficulties) where you are forced to pay a debt every week until you are no longer able to meet the rapidly increasing payments.
