What's the best strategy for actually getting gear in your adventurers' hands?
Getting a hold of decent gear is one thing, but I'd rather not have to waste precious inventory slots or, worse, have my adventurers charge headlong into battle in their underwear armed with toothpicks.

I'm deep into endless mode, I've got millions of pix, so I don't really care about the general operation of the store, I can completely empty all the shelves if need be. My current goal is to, at the minimum, get everyone in top-tier merchants' guild gear, and (if I'm lucky) distribute a few fused weapons (I'm okay with loaning out the fused armor, so I don't have to make multiple copies).

With purchasable gear, occasionally I might get lucky and someone might buy something off the rack. However, this doesn't work for (A) Louie and Elan, who are too poor to pick up their late-game gear off the shelf, or (B) rare/fused weapons, which I don't want to put on the shelf for fear of them getting snapped up by the common folk. So what I need to do is get them to place orders.

I know how to manipulate the atmosphere to draw in specific adventurers, but is there a way to influence what they do when they enter the shop? Ideally, I want them to put in an order for weapons/accessories/armor/etc, rather than buy something off the rack or sell me something.

There's not really any way to noticeably influence what they buy beyond putting it on the window (and that'll like as not get it picked up by strange old men anyway) and their preferences for orders are constant.

So yeah, you're left with waiting for an order and selling for 1 pix.

well some guys have different shopping habits.
like the default sword and board dude at the start can wear amulets but he prefers scraves. so if you want to sell him amulets make sure there are no scarves in your store.
