Characters Lost
I took forever to get that little mage and assassin and all that training and leveling them up... I don't understand how I kept my level 25 louie but lost my level 19 assassin and level 10 mage. Is this normal? Please explain why

You have to get them back by doing the same stuff again. It happens everytime you get a game over. You'll get used to it.

Why? Because everything is resetted. The story, money amount, etc. Except for your levels and items you have(and expanisons). When you game over it's like the events never happened.

Hopefully this answered your question.

oh my god, this adjustment will be a little hard to get used to...

Thank-you @Protocol27
you have to do special stuff with the adventurers to get something called a true card, which basically lets you use their character from the start of a new game and all, main annoyance though is that you can only get one true card per playthrough

can you choose which true card you get to keep or is it always Louie?
Zongeria 29 jun, 2014 @ 21:15
Whoever you used the most before you beat the game. If you used Louie most of the time you will get his card. You can only get one card per game. If you want all of them you need to do NG+7 using a different person each time.. On NG+8 you will have all of them unlocked on the first day.

Also, you get Arma from post game. You need to have everyone and beat the last dungeon to get her true card.

I'm sorry but can you explain what "NG" and the number means? Thank-you guys!
Zongeria 30 jun, 2014 @ 18:25
After you beat the game you can start a new game plus. You start over but you keep almost everything. The numbers are the amount of times you need to beat the game with the same save file. Since the game has 8 adventures you need to do it 7 times. Only 7 because Arma unlocks after beating the last dungeon.

okay so in order to keep my assassin, I need to beat the game twice essentially, is that correct?
Zongeria 30 jun, 2014 @ 21:03
Depends. You get a true card for whoever you use the most. So if you use her a lot the first run you will have her right away the next time. But yes that is right.
