Should've tried the demo. Steam doesn't give refunds.

Buyer's remorse.

I guess I'll be the first to note the irony of this complaint/request being about a game specifically about buying and selling stuff.

That said, I'm (genuinely) curious: What about the game didn't you like, or why do you feel it is not worth what you paid?

bought this game YEEEEAAAARS ago... then it came to steam and bought it again...

money well spent i still love the game. so first, you could have tried the demo SO SUCK IT UP and second, valve doesn't give refunds because people are to oblivious to play a demo...
FYI, Steam says the OP played the game for over six hours. Unless he idled for much of that time, this actually should be enough to get a decent sampling of at least the store transactions, if not the dungeon-diving. So this doesn't seem like an impulse purchase gone wrong and so I'm trying to figure out why this person got sick of it after six hours.

Also, I presume he got the game at full price, rather than on sale for $10 or $5.

There is a major lack of content. No refunds huh? Well this is a hard learned lesson.

I am not entirely sure what you were expecting, you are a kawaii girl running a shop that buys and sells stuff. Thats what all the pictures and videos are like that I have seen at least. I guess theres the dungeons too but I played for about 20 hours and barely touched them.

I have been meaning to replay this again too, although I can see its rather limited replayability, once you get to the 'end game' buying and selling all the most expensive stuff then there isnt really any more progression. But I still enjoyed it and certainly worth the price I paid for it when it was on sale :p

PS. Capitalism, Ho!

1. Didn't do the research on what type of game it is
2. Bought it at full price instead of on sale
3. Bought the game to "try" instead of downloading the demo first
4. Assuming that Steam would give refunds for people who don't like the game they bought (no store would do this btw)

That's all on you.

There's a pretty extensive series of several dungeons of increasing size with a ton of unique items (many of which are required to use the item fusion system in the merchants' guild), and they're also the only way to unlock all the other adventurers. Have you made use of this? The game is basically an item shop sim with a gigantic action-RPG "minigame", that being the dungeon-running bit.

Steam says I've personally logged at least 97 hours doing my first playthrough and then trying to one-loop the game from a fresh start. I suppose it depends on how much time one spends looking through their inventory and curating what to put in their storefront, or emptying dungeon floors of monsters just to get their loot.

replayability
I think the main sources of replayability are basically doing multiple loops to complete the item encyclopedia and unlock all the adventurers. I guess if all you're doing is buying from the market and guild and selling from the shop, then the game could get quite tedious, though -- speedruns of Recettear (which do exactly that) aren't the flashiest speedruns.

How have you played 20 hours with barely touching the dungeons? o.0

You don't get a refund for just not liking the game. I didn't like Bioshock Infinite, where the ♥♥♥♥ is my 60 dollars?
