lets say X is a custumer, and X has a heart for the first time above him. is X now at rep 2?

If a heart is above a customer, it means you can sell stuff at a higher price. More hearts mean the higher the price of items can be and the more money they'll bring.

If that's what you wanted to know.
it is not. maybe a better examle. i was selling to louie and a heart showed up. i know htis means repuatoin. but does it show the current (level 1 rep) or does it single a level up (level 2 rep) i need to know so i can force louie to buy better things

Let's say you Louie can only buy the knights sword(or anything around 1'000pix).

When the heart is increased he ends up bringing more money which means he can buy better swords for a better price. Everytime a heart appears, he brings more money.

But if you really want him to buy better equipment, try offering him a sword or armor around his budget. Sure you lose money, but you can bring more items back with you when you pass a floor in a dungeon.
im sorry but i want a yes or no. Louie has shown a single heart 2 times. is he at level 3 rep? yes or no
to clarify, i know how rep works. and the mathmatics to find out their new budet. i just don't know how the hearts work. so yes or no. is louie level 3 (based on my above comment)

No, he's level 2. Each heart is one level.
oh so level 0 is a level.

There is no official naming scheme for customer reputation level, so you can call it what you want as long as you're consistent about it.

Well, in total you see 8 hearts, but 2 are silent but they do give you benefits.

I'm assuming there is a level 0, but I could be wrong.

if you wouldn't mind. since loue is level 2 that makes his budget 12k right? i read its roughly 10% increase (would make sense) of their max price eveyr level up (note im rounding due to the fact its roughly)

Well let's see.

60'000p/50= 1'200p*5= 6'000p
6'000p/5= 1'200p*10=12'000p

Yep, 12'000 pix. Never thought I had to use math on a steam forum.

For exact budget level, look up each customer's starting budget and max budget.

let START = starting budget, MAX = max budget, REP = reputation level

BUDGET = START + [(MAX - START)/10 * REP]
uh yeah no
