What's your least favorite enemy?
My least favorite enemy changed around a lot as I was progressing through the game, really early on it was the rabbits, before I knew how to kill them, a bit later it was the knights because of how annoying their constant blocking got. Around the middle of the game I started hating the ropers because they don't follow any spawning rules and can just spawn wherever they want, then as soon as the "statue" things came up, I hated them, because I first encountered them in a group of three and it was nearly impossible to get to any of them.

Now that I'm finished the game and trying to get the endgame items, I'll say that my least favorite enemy by far has to be the bombs. They seem to love hanging out near walls and they do absurd damage if you get caught in the explosion, in Crystal Nightmare getting hit by any bomb pretty much means instant death. All it takes is a split second of carelessness and you can get blown up and die instantly. And the slightest thing sets them off too, once I think I accidentally sent a bomb into a bee that I didn't even see, but it blew up and killed me anyway.

At first it was the ropers, because they are quite annoying and hard to beat if they're chasing you. It's even worse when their movement speed is increased.

And how I hate the statues that shoot rings at you, they seem to make it so hard to get pass certain places. They are worse when you play as Louie, because you need a range attack to actually hit them.

There's a good reason why I use Tielle. She can use her 4th special move which freezes enemies in place(great if for multiple ropers), and charging your attack to level 5 will make her shoot arrows from behind her. And she can make quick work of those statues(at least without using magic).

The bombs have never given me much trouble. I normally use Tielle, Griff, or Nagi, and just attack the bombs using Tielle's charged shot, Griff's vampire vortex, or Nagi's vacuum spear. It kinda depends on the character which enemies are annoying; for me Griff and Tielle pretty much make all enemies a total nonissue. I will say the floating pumpkins have gotten on my nevers when I use other characters though.

Yellow bombs in Crystal Nightmare. They explode hard enough to kill you instantly, and they're really bad about drifting into each other right as you kill them, drifting sideways to get hung up on a corner right as you kill them, or having a ghost spawn right behind them right as you kill them.

As a close second, the white/purple tentacles in Lapis Ruins. They're terrifyingly powerful for the gear you're likely to have at the time, very fast, and they put up a buff that makes them immune to pushback. A pack of three can ruin your day very quickly.

It's actually easiest with Louie because he can block their shots and walk right up to them. :D

I find with the bosses it depends a lot on which character your using which bosses you would hate, but with the enemies, I hate the bombs most with all of them, I just hate them even more with the melee characters.

I could say I hate the Will o' Wisps, but it wouldn't really be fair because in 40 hours of gameplay I've only encountered them once. They did kill me, but I could have easily escaped them if I tried, I was just curious about how deadly they really were.
