Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

Can't Sell Rings in the shop.
I bought some rings on the market when they were cheap, but I can't seem to sell them in my shop. Customers ignore them for some reason. I'm not sure if I attract the wrong customers or if they are only useful in dungeons.

They dont seem to sell out on display but sell well enough when placed in a vending machine

You just have to hope a customer buys it, it's random so just be patient.

You should wait to sell them to someone looking for an accesory. Meditation, soul and evoker's ring can be sold in holy object's boom.

Every customer has a list of item-type preferences. Rings and books are pretty low on all of them, except little girls (who won't be able to afford them until you get a few rep levels with them).

Vending machines ignore customer preferences, so that's another way.

Yea, mostly you will see Rings on little girl purchases, which means making a good profit on them is pretty hard due to little girls rarely going above 110-115% unless its a price up time for that item. Its sort of odd that one of the most expensive item types tends to sell to the cheapest class of customer you can get, other than Prime's cheap arse. Girls don't haggle a tenth as often as the Housewives do, which is about the only reason I'd prefer them to the HWs who love to break your combos if you try for anything above 118% or so, even if they are willing to take it.
