If only achievements...
Love this game to death! Just wish there were achievements. I might even buy DLC, like additional areas or new locations to make a shop. Or maybe it's time for Recettear 2?

Don't expect any updates or DLC though. And original devs likely don't even think about Recettear 2.

I wonder why there's nothing new from EasyGameStation or Carpe Fulgur LLC on Steam O.o

EasyGameStation was last heard from having released Okkotos and working on Territoire.

Carpe Fulgur is currently working on The Midnight Sanctuary, a VR-capable VN from Cavyhouse (the dev of This Starry Midnight We Make).

Not at all. I had a few games that I bought when I first joined Steam that didn't have achievements, but had them added when Steam launched the trading cards. It is totally possible. Not likely, but possible.

Trading cards is a simple way to get more sales as well.
Way too many people keep buying cards to get levels and such on Steam =p
