VVVVVV is an amazing game, whether you enjoy indie games or not. The retro-inspired soundtrack gives the game a great atmosphere, and makes you want to replay the game (or just die repeatedly so you can listen to your favourite ones continuously). It has no loading screens, so therefore you can just try and try... and try... without any breaks.
At first I thought this was just a cute indie game, but I found myself mercilessly dragged into a platform game that was way harder than it looked. Some levels got me dizzy, others got me frustrated, and others got me boasting that this game is easy (however in the next level I was saying something entirely different).
The only thing I dislike is its shortness, but there are also other modes unlocked after your first playthrough (Timer mode, flip mode and no death mode -eventually-), so that might add extra time. 9/10
