Hi, guys I'm having trubble with my mic. It is a Dynex headset with microphone USB connection and the sound quality is worse than mario. I also cant talk to anyone in game. Help?

Well, maybe that's the problem then.


Jokes aside, no I don't think so. You probably have a low-quality mic. Don't hold it or store it near monitors or other audio devices, they interfere with each other so I'm told.

Now that I think about it, though - your microphone's speaker thing. It probably can't handle some of the frequencies being transmitted through it, so it produces white noise since it doesn't understand all of the frequencies.

You could try reducing its transmission volume in its driver controls or whatever, and increasing transmit volume using controls found in-game or in steam's options.

I've tryed that but my other problem is that people just can't hear me.
