I really have no clue, I've seen other posts on work-arounds to fix the issue (ALL of which involve adding the game as a non-Steam game, when it actually is) so obviously the overlay and screenshots could/can/will work, so why they don't fix it is beyond comprehension...

LOL seriously?? .. yeah .. i want ingame community :( .. it doesn't look like a hard thing .. why haven't they done this??

Because it is an old title and they probably don't care as much about the Steam overlay as you do on such an old title.

^ Way older games have the Steam overlay. Even all the DOSBox titles I can think on Steam have it.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying that I can't open messages without leaving the game.
