Ok ive figured it out, with a little help from someone on this disscusion area. Basically he said add it as a non-steam game, and run it, and it will have the community in it. But then we run into the problem, if you have those screenshots in a non=steam games folder, how do you get them up on the game hub?

Basically the app number assigned to every game on their url, is the same number of their screenshot folder. all screenshot folders are located at Steam\userdata\78965579\760\remote

inside of remote are the main folders for the games. So then after you have taken your screenshots from the non-steam shortcut, go to the window that manages them, click show on disk, and you will be led to the folder with its screenshots. Now what you have to do is creat a folder in the above called 7000. That is the app number for legend. inside of that make a folder screenshots. inside of that place the thumbnails folder and screenshots from you non-steam then restart steam.

Now I almost didnt et it to work, so its a theory, but when i right clicked the real legend after moving files and restarting, I realized their still wasnt an option to view its screenshots. So i went to my profile in the top, then screenshots. Tomb raider legend was there so I looked and there they were. The option was then available. dont know if thatll happen to anyone else, but thought id mention it

So now after doing this, you should be able to move the screenshots over from the non steam on to the real one a lot quiker, and possibly without restarting steam.

Yes I know its a bit of a hassle but it works so yeah.

do not call your no-steam game the same thing as the real one. That casuses confusion in the screenshots folder

Thanks for this. The Steam Overlay works just fine once you add it as a non-steam game.
