Game is not launching

Yes, i know there`s 100discussions about this problem, but i have tried some of them and still nothing. So i`ll start describing my problem. I just bought HL complete pack with all the half life parts, because i want to remember childhood and the 90`s. I play Counter Strike 1.6 too, and it runs just perfect. I lauch HL and it shows the old Gordon Freeman and after 2 sec just closes the game. I have Windows 7 32-bit, pc should run it, so i think theres no need to show my pc specs. I have tried to launch it with DEP (still nothing). I have tried to run it with compatibility mode (w7, xp, 98) and again NOTHING. So i would be very grateful for you`re help, because i said already "i want to remember childhood".

Thats was what i read, but i came here to advice you and another people that could have the problem that here is an option.

Hey bud, I just experienced the eact same promlem, fixed it with the solution above EXCEPT I specifically made the allowance for Half Life which you find inside Steamapps
