Stop using Avast, haha. I still prefer AVG. AVG did not pick this up as a suspcious program.

Anyway, does Avast not have an exceptions list you can add Deus Ex IW to?

avg uses too much ram
Mr. Roy Batty, Notary Public Oct 17, 2013 @ 9:36am
Were you able to add it to an exceptions list in Avast?

Avast is trying to save you from playing this terrible game.

(I know this almost a month old but I couldn't resist)

Avast is made by the Illuminati and they don't want you finding out about their conspiracies?

Upgrade to Windows 8.1 (if you're not already using that OS) and just use Windows Defender that comes pre-installed which replaces Microsoft Security Essentials no need to be using a 3rd party anti-virus program.

windows defender dosent have real time shields plus its database is barely up to date with todays threats

You are so wrong, Windows Defender replaced Microsoft Security Essentials under Windows 8 and you can't install MSE on Windows 8.

It does have real time shields and you seem to not even know what you're talking about if it didn't have real time shields it wouldn't be pre-installed to begin with so please do your research before you stat false information.

I think that reinstalling the OS is a bit extreme even if this is an amazing game where you can see JC Denon after he turned on off the computer. I would recommend instead to get an Apple computer and then you can't get any viruses. This is because you will run steam inside a hyper visor.

Ha, a mac. Install Mint instead. Or plenty of others.

Or just use a different antivirus, or use exceptions list.

Windows 8 is so bad it should be considered malware too though.

If you're running Windows 7, uninstall whatever AV program you're using and install Microsoft Security Essentials. If you're running Windows 8, uninstall your AV program and just use the built-in protection - which is MSE.
