Unable to start/run

i just bought this game and already i get "failed to find steam" error. at first it wouldnt run after trying to start a new game now it wont run at all. any ideas on a fix for this?

Have you tried restarting Steam and make sure it's up to date and making sure your vid card is up to date? Also there is a website here: http://yoni0505.blogspot.ca/2012/08/deus-ex-invisible-war-windows-7-fix.html (I never had the crash on startup though so I haven't tried this, also I don't even know what OS you are trying to run it on)

What are your system specs?
