Help with menu text glitch

[McStrangeFart]

I've tried searching around for this problem, but nobody else seems to have shared this one. It may be that I'm not searching for the right keywords, though, because it's difficult to describe--I'm running the game on Windows 7, and the text in the menus and dialogs seems to have been replaced with some wierd debug code. See the screenshots below for more of an explanation:

Does anybody have any idea of how I'd go about fixing this?
