One of the best games released, and certainly the best in Deus Ex series (following games are quite pathetic in comparison). Great story, atmosphere, dialogues, gameplay (non-violent playthrough totally possible, including avoiding bosses), and probably the only game of this kind that is so good. I recommend it to cRPG players, to FPS players and to stealth games players as the gameplay will higly depend on the player. The only thing I dislike in Deus Ex are some quite crappy levels where it's easy to get lost even on a tiny map, but it's only about some of the levels, most are alright. It's a classic that you ought to play. You might want to skip other games in the series. The first Deus Ex is the only one that matters, and so far there is no other game that might compare with it.
Simply put, this is the best game ever made. Deus Ex is the shining example of how you combine imaginative storytelling, groundbreaking mechanics, fantastic sound and level design into one brilliant package.

They just killed Cash. Now, they want to kill him again. America is full of run down, broken rust-belt towns where nobody cares and anything goes. In Carcer City, nothing matters anymore and all that's left are cheap thrills. The ultimate rush is the power to grant life and take it away, for sport.
