Deus Ex stuck on splash screen
I have a windows vista pc with dual cores amd processor, amd HD 6450 graphics. The game gets stuck at the animated splash screen with "deus ex" and some kind of rotating ball with lighning coming out of it. The animation does not stop. The system is not frozen, I can alt-tab to a different program and then close deus ex without problems. I have tried setting deus ex to "run as administrator" and "windows xp compatibility". Nothing seems to make any difference. I have seen some people saying that you can change the "affinity" setting from the task manager, but when I try to do this I get an error screen and "insufficient permissions" error.
