What exactly does it include or what is different about it than the original release?

ok, multiplayer...I likely wont bother with that but what about additional weapons, levels, or augs?

It's mostly the multiplayer part. There are some bugfixes for SP compared to the latest version they shipped in disks before adding in MP, but those are few.

It's the same as for Unreal Tournament '99 GOTY, which is just a nice name for "latest official patch".
Back then games weren't chopped up to a zillion cut content DLCs, they gave you the whole game in one purchase, so GOTY was just a sticker to tell you it's a good game, you should buy this disk.
ANd yes, GOTY more or less used to mean it is a "good" game, not "best selling". *looksatDestiny*

It's 'Game of the Year' so yeah, I'd say it shows it's a pretty good game well :D

The original game was so unstable I had to reload the entire game multiple times to deal with crashes. Hopefully fix'd.

Think it's just your computer mixed with old software. The original game is pretty bug-clean.
