Petition Pyro?
The recent ports of Broken Sword to Linux (and Mac, I think) have got me wondering if the Commandos series could ever be ported to modern Linux, Mac and Windows systems. Would anybody be interested in such a thing? Could it be beneficial for Pyro Mobile[www.pyromobilegames.com]?

I'm thinking of petitioning Pyro to either do the port themselves, outsource it or release the source and assets for the community to develop it. Any takers? Any better ideas? Or is Commandos best left in the past?

Pyro seems dead... just mobile games now

Pyro is currently only developing mobile games. But guys, Commandos is a quite old game already. For sure you can run it under Wine with Linux or Mac. http://appdb.winehq.org/

Guarantee us that many signatures, D.A.P.U., and we should definitely do this petition.

That same week, Double Fine joined the party[doublefine.tumblr.com]. Any further thoughts on a Commandos petition, folks?
