You mean squire? No it is very easy. Drop blockades at all 4 points. Unless you have the rounders. You will have to pick off the archers yourself by melee combat. And will have to possibly double up on the blockades for the final waves with the orcs and attack them also. At least till you get those wonderful harpoons.

You get a score bonus for only using weapons so i solo the first level by chilling at the eternia crystal.

Don't forget to upgrade all your blockades aswell, as high as you can. Upgrading maxed on one blockade seems to be more effective than just stacking your blockades.

My suggestion would be to use bumper blockades. They deal damage as well as knock enemies away, which could buy more time if you need to hack and slash the rest down.

Also what difficulty are we talking here? I have no idea how limited the demo is.

It is also possible to use both an apprentice and a squire and build magic missile turrets as the former to then actively fight as the latter. (Swap heroes at the Defense Forge!)

Should be able to beat the game (not DLC) on hard with just squire. It's been a long time but I recall being able to beat insane with just him as well.

In short, bouncers and harpoons are all you should need.
