Whats a good place to farm for gear?

I dont need mythical/godly atm becuase my suire isnt good enough to even survive the early waves of nightmare. I could maybne survive the first 3 or so waves on glitterhelm insane. I just want to know where to get the gear necessary to play the levels/difficulty to get the gear needed to go for end game gear? I dont want to invade other peoples games and profit off of their hard work just like i dont want to spend 10-20+ million mana on comeone elses gear either. What i want is to know where to farm legendary so i can level it up and start to farm godly then mythical etc etc. My squre atm is level 71 with 211 tower health - 254 tower damage - 71 area of effect - 50 rate of attack and all under 30 hero stats. i have a fully upgraded tf2 pyro and a fully upgraded pos leather armor set.(boots and gloves have under 15 upgeades.) all in all i know there is something i can do that isnt nightmare or insane to get the gear i need for insane/nightmare. I have all of the dlc including tinkerer's labratory. please any info so i can progress would be hlepful. I have done glitterhelm regular and pure stratagy on hard. I can beat hard and make it to wave 13 on ps. Im not getting anything better then epic gear atm. So other then selling all of it for 750k mana or so atm its not helping me. Thanks for any info.

If you are a toower squire (meaning all skill points go into tower stats) you do not need that great of an armor. However If you aren't not a tower squire or have really really crappy gear, I suggest doing boss levels at hard and insane hardcore levels. The bosses drop good reward weapons, and the random armor is really nice. (I also suggest doing alchemy labs or throne room and not summit). Also SURVIVAL do it! it gets you really good gear (Best gear after wave 15 on SURVIVAL)

If you want help I can help get your some gear. However if you want to farm transcendant gear yourself, you can do Endless Spires set to Nightmare Hardcore. All you have to do is survive the first wave and loot the chests afterward.

There's several videos of doing exactly that on Youtube if you need help with a build

actually i have full matching trans sets on 3 of my builders now(squire, monk, summoner) even though getting my ev and huntress trans sets would be helpful i kinda just want to go for supreme sets and level them up to 83 when i have them. My squire is 82 and my dps jester is 83.

You might want to look at Kings Game. People tend to find the best armor there. You can also look at Sky City, but personally my best looting map has been Aqua.

my main problem with aqua is how unblanced the map is. I was doing great until 4 spawned ogres and 2 goblin copters spawned at the same choke at the same time on wave 20. I couldnt repair anything thinks to non stop ogre splash damage. I want a map i can solo with my stats. I dont feel like fighting with a guy over who is getting the supremes/ults. Yet i think having a secondary dps player is a must to make it passed wave 20. I mean i dont know what to do physical beams get destroyed immediately and ogres ignore gas traps. So i dont know what to do.

The easiest map to solo armor farm so far for me has been Sky City NMHC Survival - you get some trans after waves 20 with Supreme & Ultimate weapons from 16 up. I think the build I started with is by dom Camillo and then altered it to suit myself.
I finally managed to get through Kings Game all the way to level 30 yesterday - I have 30+ pictures of every chest I opend after wave 21 - nothing but Crap - 1 piece of mythical armor, all the rest were: Amazing, Epic, Godly. A few trans pieces dropped during the waves but they were low end and are up for sale or have already been sold.
After doing the Sky City over 15 times I have 3 pieces of Supreme armor with lower stats than most Godly and Mythicals, and 1 ultimate helmet that I could use. Lots of higher end weapons that were good. Wjhen I first started farming this I had to use a Monk to tower boost with the summoner and many times a random wyvern or spider or something would take out one of the crystals before you can save it. Now i use only two summoners to get through the waves for total armor drops Hopefully you will get better drops than I get; and good luck.

most of the time if you do survival on insane hard core or nightmare hardcore you can get good armor after the beginning waves

you can look at some builds

also having a barbarian for DPS can help out a lot for taking out ogres

Please don't necro an almost 2 years old thread. Your question got answered plenty of times recently.

However, you won't get good stuff with a single playthrough. Keep going, shard maps and kings game are good maps. In case you have to support your defenses then I strongly suggest to play as Monk with a shooting pet such as Dragon, Seahorse or Mega Chicken. Barbarian is one of the weaker heroes.
