Since iam able to play dungeon defenders without steam thx to the bundles i could try to hack without beeing afraid of getting VAC banned so easy hacking in this game is.

VAC ought to detect something like CheatEngine in an instant.
In reality, it does not, or the game doesn't use VAC.
If warning like this were as frequent as I make them on the actual game, people would be more careful! Silly d4rko isn't very bright so he doesn't realise that though gg pal.
Cheat engine can get around many ban systems very easily and I don't know how cosidering how common it is, but the game in general needs more protection.

Watch out for 'nice' players, my friend was given an item by a hacker and then reported a few seconds later by the same guy so that the hacker looked like a good, moderating player.
I've seen quite alot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lik those around, in hopes to get other people banned. The reason why they do this, i have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue, but they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for sure.

And talking about it like legit, is like saying that god exists. Maybe he is saying the truth, he really didn't know, that gear looks like the bad joke of someone evil enough for having some fun in giving it to the first newbie in his way and here we are. But I don't really care about his gear, this game is filled with hackers and all of them have that excuse when caught. And talking about respect, I replied like that only after reading his previous posts in the other thread, he deserves none.
And about you playing DD through Gamespy and hacking, sincerely, nobody cares. You are not playing in ranked mode like that, but it's just the open mode that you can find on steam too. You will never get banned for that, there is a workshop full of modded weapons, gear, pets and everything, and you can hack the hell out of them all. And even for the ranked, the vac is slow and bans only in desperate cases, looks like even stuff like cheat engine works on this game without problems and that is sad for an online game. So you don't have to be afraid playing through steam, it's harder getting vac banned than don't, and if you cheat you deserve it.
@The Cop: I don't even waste my time with you anymore after this. There are plenty of newbie guides around, about gear, maps, strategies and even stats, in 160 hours of game, you had all the time for google "dungeon defenders stats" or what you wanted to know and find out there exists a wiki about the game where you can find almost every info that you need in a really short time or check the forums and spend some minutes reading what people wrote there. All stuff that hasn't been written yesterday, but nooo, better cry on the forums, insult people and looking like the savior of all the newbies with "never told" facts and truth (of a game released 3 years ago) only for have the possibility to complain about your ban.
