He's level 89 squire with a sword with 471 upgrades (upgraded all the way) with 490635 basic damage and 709900 fire damage 100 knockback 100% block 600 hero health 600 hero speed 600 hero damage 600 hero casting 360 circular slice 400 bloodrage 1000 tower health and 1000 tower attack rate. It said it was worth 71mil only... which my mythical with 71 upgrades is at 80mil to sell. I'm definitely thinking it was a cheat.

ive had people drop items like this alot.. ive been wondering if they were hacked,..... just had someone leave a "mask of even more awesome" that he got "from a friend" and i picked up a dropped sword the other day that was doing like a million damage. i seriously did not know....

hey people. i develop software for a living, and this game has been designed without cheating-prevention in mind. it is rather obvious that the server does not handle or even check players items. it's a design-flaw, which i would imagine stems from the fact that DD was not developed for steam or the type of use which steam implies. further i dont see a chance that trendy will really fix this, they are just milking right now - the money goes into DD2. yet there would be some rather simple clientside modifications that would at least make it a bit more difficult to manipulate game data. and believe me, DD is so easy to manipulate a blind worm on lsd could do it. i think it is frustrating - you just cannot be sure that any good item you do not pick up yourself in a private game is legit. the best indicator of cheated gear is the item value, if it does not match the stats - its cheated. yet even if it does match, it does not mean the item is legal.
sadly it seems (just my feeling, i have no evidence one way or the other) that the only measure against cheating is reporting cheaters with a screenshot, which is, to be polite, not a feature of the product, but rather good will on the consumer side.
so that said, im kind of discouraged to continue playing after i saw the amount of obviously cheated gear, and thought of the amount of cheated gear that most surely is around but has not been manipulated so far that it defies the games max. stats. basically every gear with multiple 600er values has a good chance of having been manipulated.
