Crashes at level change or moving to tavern

ever since I piced the game up I have had crashes, I lived with them as they seemed intermintet and did not happen when I was the host but now they seem a lot more frequent and now it is also happens in between levels as well as going to the tavern (befor it was just the tavern) , also I can no longer seem to host with out crashing out - this make me a little sad I havent playeh in a wile and coming back to this kinda makes me want to put it down again.

anyway I am playing on a mac useing 10.8.2 and I did check every thing for updates - I also use an xbox controller . I have also tried reinstalling the game a few times. so any advice on the problem would be nice.

I have been getting the same problem, I tried everything. Reinstalling the game, checking the files, but every time it crashes more and more files are corrupt and are "invalid"

Still no fix I take it ? I tried to play with some peaple the other night, it took about 30 tries to get to cherecture selection . then the game crashed as soon as we left the tavern, after about 20 min I was ablo to join a survivel game but I crashed after about 4 waves and could not get the game to start again.

where you playing on mac before the crashes? mainly on mountain lion 10.8.X ?
apparently it is really buggy on mountain lion, people have reported not being able to start the game up.

yeah I had To upgrade to ML recently, DD was buggy before that but now it is mostly unplayable. I checked the DD forums and it looks like they have no fix.

I have a Toshiba Laptop and it has all the requirements to run the game but it crashes when exiting the taver, I am only on the second level too
