Just random venting
So I played Dungeon Defenders on Xbox 360 and loved it. Got a few high level characters and whatnot. Then I decided to go the PC route. Figured I'd pick up Dungeon Defenders since I saw how much more content is available for it.

Well, I wasted a lot of time today playing "Local" because I had assumed it behaved the same as on the 360. So I'm typing this as I wait for this wave to end and become a whopping level 3. :(

You may want to explain what your problem is Keizaron. That way we can actually provide you with some helpfull feedback.

Umm... there isn't a problem to fix. I was just venting at how I wasted my time on local instead of being on an actual server.

If you want, add me, and i can quickly boost you to 70, so you can get some items and some things back which you had on xbox :) (Afraid i can't boost you for long though as i generally play in a 4 player group)

That would be great! I'd really appreciate it.

I'll help boost when Bren needs a break.

LAWL.

"Local" - says it all. Go on Trendy. Secondly, if you want everything handed to you, then go grab someone to boost you. (I often boost people, so we are out there) Wait until you get to level 70, then you'll really rage! >.> lol Lastly, what, you completed just a wave and gained 3 levels? Even if that was an entire mission, you still got THREE levels for just that? And no doubt only medium/easy, without using HC... I honstly think you're just trolling or something, because it's a bit of an absurd (albeit amusing as hell) post. xD Aaaaaaaanyway, if you see a game on Trendy, called "H.TM - Another Survival Game!" then join and grab some easy and quick levels/mana. The issue is, on PS3/Xbox, the local and online both seem to be stored on Trendy servers, because there is no "export to local" option, and whenever you load a local game your characters are automatically your "online" characters, and it seems to be visa-versa as well. I did PC first, and then got it on my PS3, so I didn't run into the problem, but I can see how you could. However, having done it in that order, I feel the PS3 version is TERRIBLE compared to PC, and I would not have purchased it on PC if console had been my first experience! I'm so glad it didn't happen that way!

Well, the PC has better graphics, more customisations, and I hear much more DLC? So yeah.. PC must be better for this game, surely. 'o.O Put it this way, there is no way in hell I'd get it for any console. 8)

Local should be stored locally, that's the whole point of it being local; that's what it means - if Trendy store online, in local, then they are wrong to do so, IMO. Hah.

kenyb said it all. On console, local and online characters are switchable. I just assumed it was the same.
