Same DD account Mac & Windows

I have a mac at home and a pc at work. I have been playing on the mac exclusively but just installed steam on my pc. When I get into DD on pc my characters from the mac are not there. Anyone know how to make sure everything is syncing properly so I can play on both mac and pc on the same account?

i assume you are using steam on the mac to run DD correct?

if you play on Ranked then your characters should appear when you play DD through your steam account at work and therefore you will only need the internet in order to play with your characters.

if you are on open you will need to backup your save files, and transfer them
