Steam Cloud not working right
I usually play on my desktop, but recently have been playing on my brother's laptop.
when i try to play on my desktop, all of the work i've done on the laptop did not transfer.
usually when i switch between the laptop and desktop, the steam cloud window will pop up asking me to download file onto machine or upload to cloud. it doesn't do that anymore
my brother is leaving in a couple days and taking his laptop with him, so i would have no choice but to go back to my desktop.
any advice on how to fix this? i really don't want to start all over again.

If you are playing on ranked, that is separate from steam's cloud saves.

I've never played on ranked. the sync worked before. I don't know why it isn't working anymore :/

There is a way to backup your open heroes, you will have to dig that though.

you will find your local heroes here:

local disk\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dungeon defenders\Binaries\Win32

the two files you need to back up are:
DunDefHeroes.dun
DunDefHeroes.dun.bak

once you have installed DD onto your new machine just go to the addess shown above and move these files back in.
