random crashes

my game crashes randomly on windows 7, sometimes when going to the main menu, sometimes after a wave, rarely on startup. i never had graphical problems, fps drops etc.

have you done the usual troubleshooting things:

1.verify integrity of game cashe
2. reducing graphics settings
3. enabling multicore threading
4. turning off post processing
5. updating graphics card drivers

I've done all that and more and it still crashes when entering tavern, or leaving tavern to start mission. I've got it to work abot 5 times in the last 3 weeks, and when I do no problems till I go bac to tav and try and start another mission, then crash! pls help
