Is this HAck? please help( new player )

I just bought the game 4 pack and started playing today with a friend. the game was fun we were learning the basics till a guy level15 entered our room and asked if we want some item for free. of course we said yes. we thought we would give us some cool sword but no. he had like 1000 itens throwing them on floor then we got each item we thoguht they were cheap trash itens but then. when we checked each item . one was like giving us 50k hp. the other + 500k damage and goes on. we were killing every mob with one hit even when we are level 10. the game was fun till this. what is that? was the guy hacking the itens ? are that donators itens? please answer. u can clean the itens from my acc if u want but please do something to protect the game cuz i really loved the game till we saw this....

Thats what you should do, Dont worry about the mana that you got from them really. Not much you can do about that. Just make sure to sell them.

ye b then i got like 6 bilions in my first 2 hours of game. that made the game kinda boring already for me.....

if you wish to delete the mana generate a mana token by talking to the tavernkeep

then open up a game on private ie deeper well
drop the mana token onto the ground
then exit to the main menu

There is no such thing as an anti hack protection.

there are always going to be people who hack in online multiplayer games, there are hackers on bigger games like team fortress 2 and COD.

keep in mind trendy are a relatively small company and this is their first game, they do not have the resources to keep all hackers in check, they try but it is futile in my eyes.

Was this on OPEN and not RANKED? If so- Its not a hack, Its called steam workshop.

what is the diference of playing normal and ranked? i play league of legends and if u lose matches ur "elo" ( the ranked points) goes negative, and if u win u gain more ofc. so i was afraid this ranked thing was like in LoL . newbie player here srry

DD is more casual than leagues, all that ranked does is not allow you to use steam workshop mods, and so all gear and experience must be earned. this is generally where most of the community play also.

this mode allows for steam achievements

Theres hacks on ranked game still not as frecuently as you migth think speacially since most hacked items are allways high level and commonly have stats that are not easy to notice that being said the game sometimes gives you weapons and armors that so powerfull that its hard to belive if its hacked or not
