Too difficult for solo

I completed the first 2 levels by myself but can't complete the next 2. Do I just need more people or am I doing something wrong?

no, i think mage is probably the only one who can do more than 2 levels by himself
every other class is harder in the beginning, just play some multiplayer until you level up

I disagree actually. There is nothing wrong with running a few maps over on lower difficulties in order to get your characters some levels. Tower stats don't start dropping on items regularly until after the first boss, so character points from levels can help out alot. Not to mention, you are most likely just struggling with builds more than anything. Add me if you need some help. Cheers.

indeed when i started, i could not complete the second level until running it a few times, now after starting a new char, placing points in key stats and proper tower placements i found the second level to be a cake walk, and could advance alot more quickly through the levels.

just run the levels a few times, try and tweak your build a little, introduce new towers to your strategy.

probably around 90% of the game can be soloed, its only the more recent maps that they had started to try and make multiplayer a requirement due to the sheer difficulty, however with stupid high stats im sure those could be soloed too.

p.s. both mage and squire can pretty much solo all the original campaign at your stage

Actually, I agree with Sir Cheddington. All maps of the original campaign can be played solo, the newer larger ones also, but it take longer to master them.

Nothing is more satisfiying in this game than a victory in a level after several unsuccessful attempts.

As the first char I prefer the squire. Compared to the mage he has the advantage that his passiv defences are more "active" (they can kill attackers).

Neither. You are just inexperienced. As you become more and more familiar with the game, you will begin to see that each level has a multitude of possible solutions, from risky aggressive builds to safe defensive builds.

Also, don't listen to the nonsense that only X class can solo or whatnot. It is entirely possible to solo most of the game with any class, so long as you are utilizing the tools you are given and have the necessary stat level for your difficulty.
