I'm finding squire/baroness is good fun, great for learning and possibly best for solo. Imo out of the basic classes they have the best towers by far. Even with jumping into combat as much as possibly the towers still get around 80% of the kills and only risk to the crystal usually is an ogre, nothing else gets past the towers.
Also, as a side note .. what the hell is the number on an item? Like, you open your Item Box, and all your items have this .. number. i'm totally confused by what that means. I read that quality is measured by the name of the item, so .. if it's not like an item level or something .. what is it?
yes you can play single player on ranked, just make a private match that way only people on your friends list can join, then press esc and there should be a toggle to hide the match, that way no one can get into your game until you click unhide.
the number on your items are the value, the tavern sell price, this game uses a currency called mana to purchase new items and to upgrade your gear.
