Achievements

I have qualified for several of the achievements, however I have not gotten any of them. Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?

you can only get achievments by playing online on the ranked mode, you cant get achievments by playing on open, single player or gamespy modes

well that just stinks... but then again prevents cheating.... though... they are just achievements...

I agree, you should be able to get achievements via playing Singleplayer. I for one rarely play Online (ranked or otherwise) so getting these achievements is very difficult. They should change it to allow any mode to give the steam achievements as we are using it to play.

I'm not really interested in ranked play or even playing Co-op, If i'm going to go "online" to play this game but play in a private match, Whats the point of playing online, I could just play a Local game.

The idea is that, for the high levels, you can get the help you need to do the maps. My local/open play was pretty much solo entirely, and I enjoyed it, but grinding was much too difficult.

when you play in open you get achievment trophy's in your tavern but you will not get "STEAM" achievments. to get the little black box to pop up in the corner of your screen when you finish an achievment, which is a steam mechanic, you must play on a server operated by steam or you must use steam enabled servers so steam can track your progress to award you the achievments.

and sadly ranked only means steam enabled servers not VAC enabled. because cheating is very rampant. if only trendy still cared they could convert rank to VAC enabled and add more content again. but they are so engorged with dungeon defenders 2 MOBA(massive online battle arena: ie: DOTA2 and games similar to it) right now its pathetic.

Ranked an open are both VAC enabled. Open just means you can use mods from the workshop, in Ranked no mods are allowed.

ya play around 5am pst your gonna see a ton of german servers and regularly i run into summoners sporting 1million all stats. or hell look at the #1 hero on any of the leader boards in the billion points? but the next 3000 on the board will hardly break the millions. or my absolute favorite is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ passing crystaline dimension in 5min that is total red flags and VAC would catch that and it doesnt they still play and exist.
