just a different title
I keep posting in the Coal Lottery a question - which seems to get deleted before posted - Question is: was what if 10 people pay their one coal and all pick the winning numbers - (It is a lottey so anything is possible) - where does the other 760 coals come from to pay the winners? This question has now been asked three times by me and deleted somehow twice - hopefully this time it will go through. And; who has the authority to delete a simple inquiry on the forums - or Avous, is this too pessimistic to ask?

That isn't pessimistic in the least! I said you're a pessimistic person because your Real Time Strategist comment about needing hacked gear and the game being impossible/dumb same for the survival on the same map and not carrying if you get banned if you can complete a single map. And that isn't an officially supported event. If they can't pay for it then nothing happens since it's not supported by Trendy Ent. those people are just out of luck.

If by chance you have ten people who pick the winning numbers - they put in only one each - where do you get the other 760 coals fom?

I have collected about 200 coals and 50+ cubes. I have barbarian set worth 30 cubes too. So don´t worry about pay out. Then I have some rare event items, Ult+ weapons.. we can discuss about pay out.

that is business risk. as alltracboy said, we have some coal cash for pay outs.
if too many players win, we will pay out as much coals as it is possible and if it is not enough to cover all winning tickets, we will announce bankrupt and close lottery.

your case has probability (1/330)^10=6.52*10^-26
=0.000000000000000000000000065292
which is really too small probability. if somebody steal drawn numbers before end of day and use it, then it could be hard times for us :-D but we are secured quite well.

so basicly, if someone wins and you dont have the coal. You will give them something else? doesnt that defeat the purpose of a coal lotto? People are entering for coal, not something else.
Avous May 24, 2013 @ 7:28am
What did you expect? XD as I've said. It ISN'T an official sponsored event.

avous, please stop spaming here if you dont have idea about game trade system. Thanks.

palmer:
If somebody win and we will out of coal, I can sell other currency for coal. We can deal with winner. If somebody want only coal, he must wait for coal. Because as you know we have limited item space. It is coal lottery, so imput is alway coals, pay out is coal or tickets first, then other currency. It is in our rights. If you dont accept it.. dont play. There is no way to check it.. you must play until we have coal :D And now we have enough for 10 first prizes. We coud make another type of game with bank and jackpot, but this is better for player.. you have guaranteed price. If you dont mention, we offer a chance to win diamond for fisrt 100 players. So you have 1/100 to win diamond. Or buy 25 ticket and your chance will be 1/4..still better than 88 for diamond. It is a game for fun you cant loose anything. Until now, only 2 players from 13 won second price.. so we are technicaly -1 on coal.

"Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media."

I wasn't aware I was spamming.

Sorry for asking again - that answer did not show up on my list anywhere as a new comment so didnt see it. And, sorry for asking again and causing such a commotion. Good luck with your lottery and I hope you get tons of coal for your needs.
mison May 24, 2013 @ 10:39pm
