Lost TrendyNet Data (all of it!) :(

I just logged in and, after a 2 minute delay, got the "you've unlocked new dlc" message a bunch of times, clicked through them all and found all my characters gone from my account. I was just playing them fine a couple hours ago.

Are my hundreds of hours in this game now just a memory? Anyone had this issue before? I've emailed Trendy but I imagine they won't get back to me very quickly.

don't log in or play till they respond trendy only keeps a few saves of yours I think its last 4 if you log in too many times they will be over written and lost for good

this is only true for ranked if its open they are on your pc and if you loose them they are gone

pretty sure I'm screwed then. I'm pretty sure I've tried 4 times. My only hope is that I didn't actually create a dude any of those times. Just logged in, saw nothing and quit. I did finally find their account recovery email so we'll see. Seems pretty sketchy that they even have to have that email at all to be quite honest. If I have to save my dudes on their servers you'd think it wouldn't be an issue.

the exact number I do not know this is just from some thing I read once when I lost all my heroes and is not a confirmed number
Luckily they were able to restore my account so I did not loose every thing

I emailed account recovery and am still hopeful. They, however, have not even bothered to email me back so we'll see.

It has now been nearly two weeks since my data loss. Trendy finally emailed me and said they couldn't restore my characters. They offered to remake my characters with their same levels but no items. That was three days ago. I still have nothing.

I feel like this problem should not exist. It obviously happens enough for them to have a policy and specific email address for it. We are playing on their servers, there is no way to back things up on my end.

Their new game is free-to-play with payments. Why would I possibly put money into payments on a server that I'm not even sure will save my information?

Yes, mostly. They made me new dudes with the levels but I had nothing unlocked (no dungeons). They gave me 50m to regear all 5 of my 75+ dudes. Seriously. 50m. Oh well.
