Crashes on Linux with Series EV
Has there been any resolution to the problems with crashing on Linux when using fields, particularly the EV's fields? It's documented here :https://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5847 but it's difficult to reproduce on demand. Is there a work around?

Don't play with EVs :( That's ultimately what we had to do. Hopefully they will fix this soon as we want to use an EV in our group.

so don't play in public games. soemtime I want to join a game, and crash as soon as I enter it. But I can just see there is an EV in it.
