[linux] too ♥♥♥♥ing many crashes
Hello guy. When playing on trend, the game randomly. I played 50 minutes at my break, the game crashed two times at the end of the level. Yesterday, it was the same. I can't play like 30 minute with no crash on network !

Seriously, this game is totally bugged. I love it but I hate the devs at the same time, There are many KNOWN bugs on linux that deserve this game the title of "non-working" and the devs don't change it.

OK, I list those I can see
- crystals not attracted to player. I need to stay on a chest to get the crystals when the chest disappears.
- only uses one core. Nice, I got 8 cores, the game is lagging.
- when cannot connect to trend, generic message of failure. Why can't connect ? No clue.
- Well, too many crashes to be playable in network.
- Can't change my keys on linux ! No configuration program ! No way to change the video settings also.

Well, I think that is all ATM. Hope you devs gonna correc it , to finally have a working game !

The video settings can be configured ingame, but i agree with you, dungeon defenders need to support multiple cores and fix thar CTD problems. My game crashes right now.
Please, trendy, fix this problems, your game is awesome, linux gamers want to play it without crashes.

I can’t even play the game because I get a white screen in place of the animations and menu, all I have are the sounds.

I recommend to use Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail Beta with the lastest propietary drivers, but this not fixes the CTD problems.

I won’t change of distribution (gentoo) to get my games working, rebooting to Windows is easier, so, it’s not a solution…

I got the game working by lowering video settings in config file, but still the same bugs/crashes as OP listed. Does someone know where the logs are stored ? In ~/.local/share/DungeonDefenders/Logs I got only empty logs (opened and closed, nothing between these two lines)
