bought from gamestop online and....
well they dont tell you you cant play online. ok great. so thier is a link for conversion here. http://dungeondefenders.com/steamredeem fine i can find the steam file np but where to place is really giving me a hassle. the discription given is so unclear and i have no file that looks "close?" to what it says. ofc gamestop and steam are of no help on this matter. anyone here able to figure this out?

I am not 100% certain i know what you're trying to say here but...

If you buy it from gamestop, you should be able to redeem a code on steam, for a copy of the game via your steam library, at that point you can download / install it via steam.

yup what kantisa said. all you need to do is get your code from gamestop and activate that code on steam.

the other information about moving data over to steam, is just if you want to move your old saves from the non-steam version of the game of to steams open mode version.
