Linux Issues

I have a desktop that when running windows ran this game flawlessly. I installed ubuntu 64 bit to see how well the game performs. The game hangs at some of the intro logo's, and stutters at the spinning loading screen. Whenever the steam interface is opened, the game closes / crashes on me. I cant Join invites to the game, it says that the map is not found, and the game locks up for 3-4 seconds at the start and end of each wave. the game is pretty much unplayable for me in this condistion, if someone has a soulution to any of these problems it would be much appriciated.

It MAY be helpful if Steam Linux users posted lists of game they have tried. So I'll start:

- Amnesia = Does NOT run at all

- Anna = Runs, BUT mouse speed it so high it is unplayable, and Main Menu, Options, Mouse speed setting cannot be selected therefore I cannot change.

- Postal = Runs OK

- Dungeon Defenders = Starts, BUT shows only the logo screens [Press any key to continue], then I get a blank-black screen and I've lost the mouse. Only fix is to force quit [Alt][F4].

- Postal 2 = Runs and show "WARNING" dialog which closes, then nothing. Crashes back to desktop.

Please, list other Linux games you have tried and if they worked.

The Dungeon Defenders is running without any crashes on my computer. But the game hangs at some of the intro logo's and stutters at the spinning loading screen, too. Maybe my computer is too weak for this game.

i have alot of issues running this game on linux:

game loads in screen mode with low ressolution.
game stutters at the load screen.
game carshes when trying to change resolution.
cant join online games.

tested games:
TF2: works
Dwarfs: works
dota2 test: works but its bugged since the game is in tests
CS source: works
and a bunch of others that also work.

tested on:
intel core2duo
running on nvidia gts450 driver: r319
ubuntu 13.10.

also im sorry that arent aware this are forums and we should request help here so everyone who was the same problems can find them and fix them in a organized way...

i hope they fix at least the moust annoying bugs in the game like cant connect to trendy and crash when chaging resolution those need to be fixed asap :(

for amenesia u need to install 32 bit libs

Do you guys have Steam Cloud with Dungeon Defenders? Mine doesn't.
