It's not like WoW. I think it's worth getting. I got 1000 hours out of it before I got bored.

Ive put in about 300 hours and i can say without a doubt that this is the funnest game ive ever played, it has tons of weapons, accesories, pets and more, i would definately buy the collection version. Its on sale for like 12 bucks. see you in the dungeons. :)

It's highly addicting for the first 3 hours in and might get you hooked. However most MMO's do that. The auctioning system was my favorite thing about this game; where I sold items I got in the game for virtual game currency. It's that moment when you are on the hunt for good armor pieces , weapons and pets and never give up till you get all of it. I have spent 1489 hrs. of my life in this game. I would reccomend it ; it brought out the collector in me where I loved hunting for items.

I also sold all my main stuff in the game in a huge giveaway I did to give back the DD community my appretiation.

for example league of legends is total ripoff of this game graphic style, (which was started by torchlight, i believe) although this game have way more detailed and complex graphic, there is no even comparsion with league of legends primitive engine. im just sayin it because of player base, LoL really doesnt deserve that much players even for "free" scam game. but maybe all explain players age ratio, for example LoL one is around 10-16 y old and Dungeon Defenders 20+ from my observations.

he said gameplay "like wow" not axactly "I hate world of warcraft" wow is probably the best mmo out of here but yeah you can dislike mmo grinding games, although wow has most variety of them all. only thing i stopped wow was massive boters and exploiters.

What made me quit was the community going to hell, which started when everything started working crosserver imo. I remember I made really good friends on that game, but none after cross realm was implemented. Also fun story, a few years ago I was hacked. But the guy didn't think to change my password, so I regained control of it, and came back to nearly maxed out mining and tons of ore in my bags. He didn't even destroy any of my gear, he put it in the bank!

some role playing focused realms still have some nice guilds to offer with close friends and relationships though.

Yeah, You're probably right, just never got into roleplaying much. But if I ever renew my account I'll definetly look into starting a character, (or transfering, but probably just a new toon) to a rp or rpppvp realm.
