When does dungeon defenders 2 release?

It is still in alpha testing fase as far as I know, I heard some people say that it could be released soon but I dont know for sure, wont be to long anymore I think

The game is still in Pre-Aplha so it will take a while, probably at the end of this year ^^

They said soft launch spring maybe sooner then you think ive seen them say on twitter "We're still aiming for a spring soft launch. Stay tuned for more news!"

But on the flip side, I did hear that they are doing something for the community, to get them invilved more in DD2, I have no clue what though, heard that in a video of ONP

They should make the alpha testing a bit easier to gain access to, currently afaik u have to post on their blog and hope you get picked at "random".

Not sure how a 'random" player is the best way to go in alpha since you would want feedback from ppl.

It is not random. The illusion of unselected randomness is just a sales/pr gimmick to do a number of things, some of which are to keep up the sense of hype and buff the postcount of the blogthreads no matter how useless the comments may be.

Also, noone specified where that 'spring' should be. Northern or southern hemisphere.
Or what planet... maybe jupiter, where a orbit around the sun takes almost 12 years. Maybe just Mars, with almost 2 years orbit.
Maybe it is worse and they meant Uranus with 84 years orbit.

It also seems the mod didn't like being put in my sig (aka forum spam) or whatever it was that upset them. Thing got upped to a 3 months probation instead of the 3 days one that had already expired.
If only they put that much effort into going after cheaters instead of people calling out the suspicious or outright obvious...
