Dungeon Defenders-"Error. Prerequisites did not install correctly. Setup cannot continue".

I bought this game about a month ago and have played it on the computer I used to own. I recently bought a new pc and decided to download Dungeon Defenders on it. I'm in a Setup for the DD Prerequisites, it says "Installing VC Redist..." and the bar remains still for a while. Then it shows an error claiming "Error. Prerequisites did not install correctly. Setup cannot continue". I don't know why it won't let me play Dungeon Defenders on my new computer. It worked fine on my old one.
