All Characters deleted from restoring configuration defaults???!?!

I logged on today trying to setup a controller with my brother we got it working but for some reason my left click on my mouse would not attack.. so easy fix i thought i closed the game and clicked configure before reopening the game to save time and not have to look for the attack button i just pressed restore defaults after seeing that it was fixed (i thought) i opened the game went to ranked and to my amazement all my characters where gone and it was asking for me to create new? ive logged a little under 50 hours and this is very very discouraging is there anyway it can be resolved? and has this happened to anyone else?

i found this after posting on here i was just looking for help and to see if i was not the only one who has had this problem.

I've had it happen to me 4 weeks in a row. After 2 years and 5000+ hours of play.Trendy has been able to restore my account each time.
