So with DD2 coming to Linux
Does that mean they'll fix DD on linux? I.e. the inconsistent performance across comparable setups, and the MANA PROBLEM.

The mana problem which makes the game completely worthless and really angers those who paid for a game that they cant play? That problem? Yeah, it should definitely be fixed.

DD2 is coming to Linux? That would be something new to me.

DD1 is free right now on XBOX Games with Gold, so I might get a chance to play it after all... I couldn't get it to run properly on my linux box, so I'll play it on my console, albeit without all the extras.

The mana isn't really a bug. For some reason, they opted to use software PhysX to power the mana. Unfortunately, PhysX in UE3 requires porting, and the guy that did the port never opted to do it. Trendy never touched the Linux port.

Ah. Shame it turned out the way it did, then. :\ The most annoying thing, for me, is that the game runs and looks so awesome, but this ONE thing is a deal-breaker for me.
