Dungeon defenders won't work on my mac :C Help

I've been trying to play dungeon defenders but every time I load it up it frezez and when it gets to the menu are anypoint with sound it just makes a weird corrupted noise like it's corrupted. (It's also more annoying than the guy who goes yoy wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?) Please help.
My computer is a mac book air by the way.
