What am I then at 1576? I'd say your chart is off, I haven't met many with a decent grasp on optimal choke points until 100 and setups til 250. That isn't to say everyone. However, most people have no idea about the metagame, diminishing return points, specific skin/gender percent bonuses, or the required stat level to farm/find certain items until after that 500 mark.

I've never seen anyone complete NMHC Akatiti Jungle under 500 hours without recieving significant assistance from a much more experienced source, be it power leveling, armor, or building for them.

Akatiti just as an example, There are quite a few I could use as an example. I'd say around 750-1000 you'd be considered a "pro" if you are finding things out alone and not recieving help from outside sources. Much like the massive info dumps I provide or other players but independantly much like myself it takes much longer than 500 hours.

It's not that I have a problem I just think it's unbalanced as I've played over 1500 hours and I'm still trying to work out the correct diminishing return points/optimal stat levels for a few skills in the game. But that's what I'm saying most people at 500 hours played don't know most aspects of the game.

A quickish example is, the first ten points into Tower Rate in Series EV are more effective than the next 200 points for the Proton Beam. The first 10 points into Rate for EV drops the Proton Beam from 0.30 to 0.25. It will take around 200 more points for it to drop an additional 0.05 to 0.20.

Or, The Amazon Skin for the Barbarian runs about 15-20% faster and cast 15-20% faster than males but at a reduced HP count and damage from a Male Barbarian. I believe the reduction value is also around 15-20%.

But that's the thing like I said I just have a generalized idea of the percentages for a few skills and skins I still have quite a bit to learn to have no margain of error in my optimization.

Nice charting. I was one of the slower ones to learn and got help from others until like the 350 hr. mark taking my time. I recently quit DD now with 1800 total hours in which I have been a pro for a long time now.

Some ppl with more hours take the scenic path, myself included.

We like to soak up the fun through trial and error without getting to the end game b4 that fun has worn off.

I remember farming Alch Labs on Insane to Wave 25 many times before any of the dlc content and nightmare mode came out, was probably at like 600hrs then. Havent even played for ages since I mainly soloed so therefor setup everything. Have played over 1300hrs thou and farmed Aquanos tons, Kings Game a fair bit but never got good drops there.
I really wish they added a feature to select the amount of mobs in survival ( ie can set to full 4player spawning when playing only 1-2 player not forcing ppl to have 3 afk just to get more spawn for better loot). Some type of temp item storage per wave where it saves the 50 best drops to take or bin at end of each wave, therefor making the items that despawn or drop out of bounds areas on maps are still accessable.
Fun game thou pitty they never really sorted out some balance in pvp games thou.

the gain in mobs really isn't that much more for 4 players its the amount of gear that the floor will hold before it sells that changes

yeah as soft said, enemies dont change, just how many of them you deal with in a wave. also specials like djinns and sharken also increase there spawn count with more characters. if this was killing floor logic the mobs would also have more HP. but only the bosses get HP increases with player count.

Pretty much, this works in split screen too. There's a cap on the amount of allowed items. They despawn old items when you hit the cap to drop new items. Adding more players increases the cap so more items stay on the map.

I have 2850+ hours, your scale tops way too low ;) But seriously most of my hourys have come from keeping my afk shop on (atleast I hope so...) All in all hours are not a good option for ranking.
