Lab Assault question(s)
I have been doing lab assaults for a bit now and I was wondering if the EV units all just did lightning damage? It seems like they do but I would rather know before I buff up my defense. Also is there any way to tell where they are at on the map? The reason I ask this question would be that usually there is one stuck someplace on the map and it is what causes me to fail since I cannot find it in time.

I have been doing Insane HC of this map farming gear and I have learned a few interesting tricks in dealing with this map but I still have yet to find any good information on these questions above. Any help on these matters would be greatly appreciated =)

I can maybe help with stuck EVs problem. Throughout my runs there I figured out most of their pathways. I'll post a picture showing it and some frequent locations where they usually get stuck on.

- yellow rectangle is where I expect you kill most of the EVs
- green paths are the EVs paths they run towards you (--> yellow rectangle)
- red circles are areas where (if they) get stuck
(please ignore my terrible drawing skills)

Hope this helps a bit.

you will never be able to see where the stuck EV's are on the map, thats a huge mistake of Trendy imo,

They tend to get stuck on the same 3 places a lot though

Elevator near the exit point where they appear and then 2 places on the ledge when they fall off, mostly they can be found there but every now and then they wander of to the point where u spawn,

I buff up all resistances when doing lab, well not all but generiic resistance is most important for me, they hardly damage me, I have 90 on insane and night mare, on lightning I have around 80 on nightmare and 90 on insane

Just be sure you don't stay to far at the edge.

You don't have to be very good, Lab just requires some practice :)

After doing this many many too many hundreds of times I found that if you go all the way to the corner the EV's jump to far up and land on rocks too often where they cannot be reached without a lucky suicide jump shot from you. If you stand closer to the stampers (silly looking flattening machines) this tends not to happen unless someone decides to chase Ev's up the ramp. I hope this helps a bit as well. Oh, and make sure everyone else is at spawn, dead or on corner with you before EV's get a chance to jump on rails all over the map.

tyvm for the information ppl =)

As for where I kill them that map is pretty close to where I stand. I am actually usually closer to the ev spawn point for them in that general area of where you linked where you kill them. That way I can get them all under the little hammer things (whatever they are pistons perhaps). I have been running it on my EV as well which is why I do this that way once I group them I hit my laser skill and fry em.

I think your map will help me a bit in understanding their patterns a bit more btw so tyvm for that =)

I grabbed an image from online and altered it with the yellow box for where I usually stand on the map and red circles for where I have noticed them getting stuck:

That's your main issue for stuck EVs. The ones in your back are not moving straight to you.

I learned if you use a emulator or a extra controller for an afk; go with barb b/c mine ; I have a tracker when I use my mouse where as I hop down I can better lock in to where a missing .EV or missing ev's are. Also I found 3 main places they usually get stuck for me when they do so I always check those first with my Jester.

One more thing about the..

actually a Generic Resistance should do the trick, Lightning Resistance is not necessary.

(please don't delete my post, just posting advice to our fellow Defender)

If TE was able to make regular mobs/boss icons shown on the map, then why not EVs only in this particular challenge?
(just my opinion, take no offense)
