Split Screen HELP!!!

Bought this game for local coop or split screen in general...but when my friend joins neither of our screens show health or mana or the pause menu or even the wheel you bring up for upgrading/placing traps/hero info ect. We can move but its like no HUD what-so-ever...does anone know why this is? I've changed resolutions, I've changed split screen from auto to vertical and to horizontal, I've changed compatibility because i thought maybe it's a Windows 8 issue, I've done so much but to no avail...if anyone has any idea as to why our HUDS aren't displayed I'd REALLY appreciate an answer...thank you :)

Also I'm playing on a 46' Flatscreen tv so there should be enough room...lol

I don't know if it'll help, but you could try pressing H on a keyboard, that toggles the UI on/off.

i seem to be having the same issue, friend comes over to play with me and the games Hud isnt there. If you hit escape you cant move till you hit escape again. It looks like the game is just hideing the menus when you do hit escpe because you can hit hidden options.

Whoa, i am having the same problem too, my friends came over to play split screen with me and everytime we try to play with 2 players, the wheels you use to bring out defenses did not show up. it is like you are playing with "H" on. this has never happened to me before unti now. Please help.

I had the same prob, I had to redownload some Microsoft files, wish I could tell you what files they were but I cant recall, all is working fine for me but that took me 6 months to find out.

I fixed it by going into NVIDIA Control panel and turning off Anitalaising
