ECP Redux install?

How do i install? the readme just says

Install Operation Flashpoint and patch to final version.
Extract @ECP.rar (or @ECP.7z) into your Operation Flashpoint Directory.

To play make a desktop shortcut of 'FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE'
and right click on the shortcut to view properties, set the
target as:

D:\games\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE -nomap -mod=@ECP

Use a rar opener like winrar or uniextract to open the file folders, and copy and paste those into the Arma CWA folder in your local disk under program files, steam, steam apps, and common.

Instead of creating a shortcut icon as in OFP CWC, Arma CWA uses mods through the steam launcher. Go to your librabry and right click the game, and select properties and then set launch options, and enter something like this :

D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARMA Cold War Assault\ColdWarAssault.EXE -nomap -mod=@ECP

It crashes for me right away, any advice?
