One of my favorite games, however its not worth 30 bucks I got it at a 90 percent discount.
Rating at the moment: 9.5/10
Carrier Command:Gaea Mission is an amazing Sci-fi game. You command units to attack, and you can use direct view, in which you directly command one unit. The graphics are quite good, not the best. It's like Arma 3 mixed with Battlefield 4 and the Total War games(I dont have bf4 and total war, but ive played them quite a bit). The infantry control is meh, but being able to command other units is amazing. Storming a base with a couple walruses(the primary assault vehicles) with AI that can actually shoot right is amazing. The AI in most Bohemia Interactive games are great usually.
Sound: pretty sweet
Visuals: good enough
Bugs: not very many
Replayable: Not very, after you play the game you're pretty much done, but you should be able to get a good amount of hours into it. Its based on the Gaea Trilogy, a trilogy about 30 yrs old. I haven't read em yet, but I plan to. Also, its based on older sci-fi video games.
Content: I haven't played that much as of now, but it feels like there is a decent amount of content.
Developers: Game is quite old, doesn't have many updates. However, it is made by Bohemia Interactive, a small group of 160+ that made the Arma series, my favorite group.
Voice acting: Bohemia was never good at voice acting, and this is no acception.
What is Needed:
More content (guns, upgrades, levels, etc.)
More players (which they can't really change :/)
The ability to prone
Better AI(I know I said they can actually shoot, but sometimes they need better pathfinding skills)
Verdict: The game is epic. Even though it's not worth 30 bucks, just buy it on sale.
